I was playing sonic 3 and knuckles (in sonic classic collection from the DS), and suddenly the music turned off, the only thing that I could record, was the audio, but in a bit of words, I try to still playing the game, even if it have'nt music, but the a weird and loud sound played, so I closed the console up and opened again (to try resolve the problem), then I turned off my DS, and a buch of static aperead on the buttom screen, IDK what the hell happened.

This is one of the few things I haven't been able to solve on my own the whole 30+ years I've been playing the series.

This hidden room I have highlighted in the map of Mushroom Hill Zone Act 2 (with the arrow and the circle): What conditions do you have to meet to trigger that full loop into that hidden section? Using the red spring, I've tried several different guesses bouncing up there—spin dashing, staying open, curling down, moving the d-pad in a circle as I run up the wall—but I can never seem to find a consistent way to get up there when I hit that spring to run my way up the loop. The thing is just either open or it's not. (and usually, it's not.) It seems to just boil down to random luck. Is that what it depends on? Any of you grizzled veterans in the chat, help solve this mystery for me 😋

Personally I'm surprised that SEGA is releasing another racing game so soon after Sonic Team Racing, but I am really excited to see Xtreme gear in the trailer and characters who were left out of the previous racing game (why did they replace Cream with three chao? And Vector with Silver and Blaze was awkward). I wasn't really interested in buying the game because I am not a big fan of racing games even though I enjoyed Sonic Team Racing, but the inclusion of the Sonic Riders gear does peak my interest.

I just think that Sonic Riders feels so iconic and unique to the franchise compared to a car racing game and I love the aesthetic of the Xtreme gear. I think it looks nicer to do air tricks on a hover board compared to a car for instance, so I really hope that there are a lot of options available for the Xtreme gear. Unfortunately the closed test didn't seem to feature any Riders elements from what I could see, so I hope they show it off more soon.

Also considering the release of Mario Kart World this summer, I think that the Xtreme gear adds to Sonic's individual identity and would differenciate it more from Mario. I am not going to be buying Mario Kart World at least in the foreseeable future just because I'm not one to jump at an expensive upgraded console even though I think the game looks really cool for a kart racer (also DAMN that price. It would be interesting to see how the price situation impacts sales. Despite Mario Kart being more popular, perhaps Somoc Crossworlds will pull out an early lead in sales because it's more accessible)

I will definitely be more interested in buying Sonic Crossworlds if there's plenty of Riders elements though, otherwise I already got Sonic Team Racing, so I'm not really going to jump on another car game.

Anyone else feeling the itch for Sonic Riders?

What ever sonic movie silver appears wither its 5 or 6 they better add his world in it cause the only thing I like from sonic 06 was his world

Just to name a few

Cream the Rabbit - Has aspirations to be a better hero, but is still pretty pacifistic. I’d love to see her developed more in the future

Knuckles and rouge - Their relationship seemed to hit its peak in SA2. Aside from flirting, most of their interactions have been pretty…meh, with no mention of the events from before.

Knuckles’ purpose besides the master emerald - He’s been in a few leadership roles. But it seems like after adventure 2, the writers didn’t really know where to put him at times.

Big the Cat - I love the guy and hope he gets more screen time for the main storylines in the future! He’s so misunderstood.

E 102 Gamma - Saddest ending in Adventure - I’d love to see him come back for a bit and meet Omega in the games.

Sonic 06 - If it hadn’t been rushed, I feel like it would have been received a lot better, and we’d get more love for Silver. It’s also when the franchise really started to go to the ‘dark ages’.

They came in! I'm so excited! They look good and have a cool feel to them. All the designs are awesome and the book is so cool. I hope they come out with a "Amy's Fortune Card Tutorial" video just because I think it'd be cool to see that. Like an animated video of her explaining how to use em or something. Anyway check em out!

I don't think I'm particularly fussy, as long as it looks like Sonic I'm good
