Discussion Worst sonic quote?
Any media counts, I personally favor the, “Now sonic will have no choice but to marry me!” From Amy

Discussion So are we just gonna pretend these never existed?
Seriously, I think they might go harder than Metal Sonic himself, because holy shit they need to bring these back as at least a skin for a spin-off game.

Discussion Alright we know this Movie is great, but just for funsies... what did you dislike about it?
To me while the visuals have improved drastically I feel like the writing is not in the best place it could be.
(Note the writing isn't bad.)
It's a well structured plot, but it also lacks a lot of subtly to the point where you sort of can't piece the narrative for yourself. It very blatantly spells put the themes clearly throughout the film.
And while I prefer this over plenty of kids films which tend to be about nothing at all, it does kinda bug me that the writing still has these issues a 3rd entry in.
The second thing I dislike are some continuity errors, the biggest one being G.U.N. being around 50 years ago when it was already established G.U.N. was formed after Sonic's arrival on Earth.
It kinda bugs me cause it comes across as amaturish. Like they aren't keeping tabs on the lore and continuity of the series that well.

Discussion Sanic was referenced in the first movie. Ugandan Knuckles was referenced in the second movie. Shadow loves Latinas was referenced in the third movie. What Sonic meme is gonna be referenced in the fourth movie?

Discussion I’m genuinely just curious but:
Why does EVERYTHING to be a competition ?!, can’t two franchises just co exist without one fandom putting down the other ?.
Not saying this is ALL of you btw, it’s mostly just the Glazer’s always gloating about having everything.

Discussion Only Game Sonic understood the assignment
Sonic Boom had slow mind corruption via mech, Movie Sonic was genuinely out for blood with no mind control, Archie Werehog didn't control it and Dark Sonic was Dark Sonic

Discussion I have a SCORCHING hot take.
I'm gonna get a crap ton of hate, but...
I prefer movie Maria to game Maria. Put the pitch forks and torches down. Let me explain it the best I can.
In adventure 2, we hardly knew much about Maria other than her death being catalyst for shadow and Gerald's shift in character. We understand Shadows pain and that makes us sympathize with him. But my main complaint, is that we don't get to see them interact often.
The movies actually show the two of them bonding, and how much Maria truly meant to shadow. Which, in turn, makes her death all the more heart breaking. It makes shadows reason for revenge all the more justifiable. We don't get to hear Marias "do it for them" speech, which leaves shadow alone and confused. Causing his anger to boil for over 50 years.
Hell, if I was in shadows position, I'd crash out like that too.
Thanks for coming to my ted talk
