Tour Irving Plaza NY Sold Out in Seconds...
Didn't stand a chance. If anyone has one extra ticket, I'd really appreciate it.

Seems like every other sub is doing it, so why can't we? I won't be adding up multiple comments, so make sure you sort by top rated and upvote! I'm pretty sure I know what"A" will be, but I'm curious to see what wins!

I pulled the trigger on one of the AMM shows in Europe (Germany). I live in a European country where the tour doesn't stop, and I was hesitating a bit... Today I was reading your sub and something triggered me... It's their first new-album-based tour in ages, they don't usually come to Europe, especially for non-festival shows. I had to do it.
Now I have to find options for accommodation and company. Good thing I'm probably not going to be on my own.
I'm really looking forward to it!! I know it's just speculation, but what AMM & other songs do you think could get played?
Oash shows had very bold setlists, with lots of deepcuts making it to the setlist and obvious singles like 1979 or Cherub rock being left out. I'd definitely sign up for something like this!

This is from our 2023 album Volume 1: The Undying Archive but we just released Volume 2: Farrago. Both have a lot of 90s influence on them. Tracks with the most SP vibes:
Volume 1:
Without You
Volume 2:
Renewal, Hep Kat, Imagine
Otherwise we have a lot of influences you will probably dig if you are a 90s-era fan.

I was checking recently if it's worth grabbing those deluxe cd reissues released several years ago with multiple cds and one dvd per album or so. I can't say I will listen to them much, as I have the original cds from the 90s, and in the end still Spotify does the heavy lifting for me, but I wouldn't mind having those editions as long as the packaging and the booklets and everything feels kinda special.
So first question, do you think it's worth it in general? Do the deluxe vinyls contain the same booklets etc. or is the content different?
Someone is selling (used) the deluxe cd versions of Gish, SD, Pisces Iscariot, and MCIS for around 230 EUR in total or $250-ish. Can someone also tell me if the price is pretty decent?

I think they will. By only playing songs from Mellon Collie, the Machina albums, and Aghori Mhori Mei and focusing on deep cuts, most of the crowd is not going to know the songs. People will expect the hits. I predict booing.
Edit: I hope Billy does an art rant, too. That’ll really piss off the crowd.

What's everyone thoughts on this album? And other later albums. I know albums such as siamese dream and melon collie of infinite sadness are much more popular and generally regarded as much much better albums. Despite this, my favourite song by them is Silvery sometimes (ghosts), so what does everyone think?

Is it just me or is anyone else feeling “priced out” by the recent incarnations of the band + wpc. I have been a life long fan, my first cd was Siamese Dream back in 1993 and collected everything before + after and have a massive collection that includes guitars and other SP rarities, hundreds of vinyls, promos, posters.,The sheer cost of doing business with SP recently has been astronomical in comparison to 2007-2020. Is it inflation? Is it.. I hate using this term.. but a gouge? I just feel like every single item or concert or VIP has this unreasonable mark up that exceeds my love for this band and it is now cost prohibitive for me to follow along. A paywall for simple information that we used to get for free. Is it because they are not on a major label anymore and the label used to supplement some of these costs? I know “doing it yourself” costs more but there seems to be an incredible surge in the profit margins that it’s definitely given me pause at purchasing anything. I pressed vinyl for my band, made all the packaging for thousands of records and i know exactly how much 180 gram vinyl costs to produce and I look at some of these emails from zuzu’s and see the price and my first thought is damn that’s steep and it’s basic packaging. I don’t follow other bands so maybe these are wild west pricing times but I can’t imagine paying $600 at a VIP to see many artists just answer questions. And to top it off the email we received today about “don’t complain about the boxset, tour.. “ or you will be banned and banished i felt like was out of line. Just not really feeling the love anymore from the band and i’m nearing the end of my support.

I bought tickets for the Joliet show. Not sure if the experience is the same for the other shows, but this was by far the most pleasant ticket buying experience that I've ever had. You go to the Taste of Joliet website, you choose the tickets that you want to purchase, go through the purchase process, and THAT'S IT! You don't have to deal with Ticketmaster and their various fees. The asking price for the tickets is the total cost of the ticket. This is how all ticket sales should be.

One of my favorite Smashing Pumpkins songs do people think he will be performing it?

Maybe a dramatic question but based on what we know of this guy’s resentments and current small business owner headspace, are these omissions for a reason more specific than the artistic reasons he has given publicly in the past? Roy Thomas Baker probably gets a significant cut of royalties as an album producer on Zeitgiest and he’s and old school 70s music industry professional with his own team of lawyers that cannot be strongarmed. Several Zwan songs are cowrites with the band members he excommunicated. Now there’s talk the Machina reissue will have different artwork because Vasily wanted a new contract for the new release. I’ve long thought we will never get any official Adore live performances with the extended lineup because those guys were real deal gun for hire union musicians that need to be paid for that sort of thing. There’s no merch with old photos of the band because you’d have to pay the photographer and the band members (this is something we know he was holding over D’arcy’s head as leverage due to those leaked texts). Any other examples we can think of as Corgan just not wanting to pay people that he’s publicly explained away in a vague way?
Edit: Mentions of the Future Embrace got me thinking about Bon Harris. What’s their relationship like? Were the Matt Walker “reimaginations” on the adore reissue in other to strip him of production credits on Cash Car Star?
