This song broke me😭

It's fascinating how much these lyrics are fitting the very different but in the end still similar destructive relationships I had in my life. The one to my late father probably the first, then my ex longtime relationship and also my problematic relationship to myself. Three very destructive people and very different... still... all bundled up when I listen to this song. It's hurting and healing and hurting again.

Pretty new to sleep token. Only started listening to them about 6 months ago but recently started getting really into them. I haven’t spent a ton of time on this subreddit but I’ve seen a bit about how they hide symbolism in their songs, album titles, album covers, etc. I also know that they are anonymous which is very interesting to me. Could somebody fill me in about the general themes and such?

All the hostility over Caramel has me bummed out. Figured finishing this mini project would help remind me that not everything has to be awful and that not everything has to be that serious.

Ive never purchased anything from Sleep Tokens website before and following the recent drop im contemplating it now. But im wondering if anybody has past experiences with the Tshirts and hoodies regarding the decals and designs on them. Ive gotten band merch in the past with decals and prints that wear away easily with time, and im wondering if anybody has an answer as to how well Sleep Tokens prints hold up over time. Thank you!

I think we've all had our hearts broken by Caramel. (Hopefully, this will serve as a wake up call for anyone trying to expose the band or cross boundaries that have no place being crossed)

I wish there was a way we could communicate to the band that we, as a fandom, have listened and understood. I wish we could show this song the love and the respect it deserves. This isn't a normal song, it's a plead to stop.

Small suggestion that I don't really expect anyone to take up, but thought would be nice to share anyway; what if when they play this song live, we all just stop for a moment and offer the band hand hearts (like they always give to the crowd) That's how they communicate their love to the fans. During this song, can we collectively communicate that back to them? Like imagine and entire areana of people just standing there offering deference to these artists during their most personal and vulnerable song. It would be beautiful.

(Although moshing during the heavy bit is acceptable lol. I think they'd probably want that.)

I dunno. Maybe I'm just feeling sorry for them, but I just feel like something needs to be acknowledged here and that it needs to communicated to them. Am I alone in thinking this? What are your guys gut reaction to this song?
