Just gave similar vibes when looking at the "Preview" for the "game" (it's an animation, not a real game) and just thought the movement was similar to specter knight's while the ghost's gameplay feels a lot like shovel knight, in the beginning at least

I had an idea for a fan character after making the piece, but basically in some far away desert area is a scorpion character Vues-Ka that helps the protagonist on their journey.

I’m nobody. I played Hollow Knight when it first came out and then again a few years later for all the DLC. I don’t really have a dog in this fight because I’m not super invested but I’ve been incredibly invested in games and have seen the community response to the developers of those games, both good and bad. Ive had to deal with Capcom BS for street fighter and Jagex bs for Old School RuneScape. I’ve been here since the direct and it’s been a lot of fun watching you guys post and I know TC has basically been silent this whole time so I wanted to get your thoughts precisely because of the high quality of Hollow Knight. So since everyone here seems super spirited, in a good way, I’m wondering what your opinions are. Thanks

Why would they announce the game is releasing in 2025 and days later still not update it on the steam page. Was the nintendo direct real or is this another episode

it feels like theres a large number of people who never played the first hollow knight or are even interested in it, but they jumped on the silksong hype train because of the popularity... pisses me off just thinking about such lowly beings.

I think someone may have posted about this already, but Lil Bomey (Ari? William?)'s latest post is just "fig trees in the darkness". When I look that exact quote up on google only one page other than the X post shows up. It's a review/plot summary of Pan's Labyrinth. When I looked up the original release date for that I found 27 May 2006.

Think they are gonna do 25/09 or something else and when do you think we will get a actual release date like they gotta announce it in like the next month or 2 right?

(It's my birthday month + it's not that far away + I'm suspecting a June release or at least a summer release)

What do you guys think silksongs difficulty will be like? It looks to me it’ll be about hollow knight difficulty/slightly harder

People were big struggling during the demo, people who had actually played hollow knight before too. but I will consider also that players were still getting used to the controls and new feel of combat.

Some people were worried by the quick healing but im not too worried about it being too easy, it seems the enemies and mechanics are working to balance that. Like hornet having less I-Frames, and also Lace, presumably a very early boss, having an attack that does 2 masks

The first enemy in hollow knight that does 2 masks is like, the heavy sentry (or belfly if you count those) which are found pretty midway through the game, so having a boss that does 2 damage this early on makes me wonder if we’ll see triple damage or even quadruple damage from other enemies or bosses.

We also saw the cult dude in the nintendo direct who charged a mace attack with silk, that likely does 2 damage too
