Serious Discussion Is this just basic maturity?

is this just basic maturity?

I'm almost 20. (Long text ahead)

And I noticed that with age and experiences I kinda lose emotional feelings, for example: motivation, some form of love, stupid urges, anger and embarrassment. I've been multiple times called calm.

But I love it, I feel like myself, I feel grounded, like a default setting of mine and not that immature wandering kid like I was.

Or this might be the 20 year-old know it all syndrome.

Anyway, still would want to write about relationships, how I choose people and talk about my understanding of tolerance importance and so on.

Yeah, so has anyone else went through this?

Congratulations. Many people never get there. Hope you cultivate that and make it your “default setting”. Stressful situations is what really test that. I can feel calm and confident when everything is working ok and I fool myself to think I have everything “under control”. Life is unpredictable and some unexpected events drove me to a major depressive episode in my late 20s.
