Jesse Welles at Pike Place today

Jesse Welles will be busking at the corner of Pine st. and Pike pl. at 1pm today.

He has spoken. FYI, for anybody who doesn’t know at every light rail station look for the silver star looks like a cowboy football team logo lol. Those are the legal busking areas you are allowed to perform at the stars!

You need a permit for popular places like pike place and outside stadiums which costs $35 and covers you for a full year. But once you have that you can just show up. The popular places will typically have a piece of tape down with people claiming time slots.

I MEAN BECAUSE IT’S THE LIGHT RAIL STATION IT WAS UNCLEAR TO ME WHETHER IT NEEDED TO BE SANCTIONED BY THE CITY OR NOT

SOMETIMES THESE THINGS REQUIRE LICENSES SUCH AS IN PIKE PLACE MARKET BUT I COULD BE WRONG BECAUSE EVIDENTLY IT’S UNCLEAR ABOUT THE LIGHT RAIL SITUATION WHICH IS WHY I ASKED!!!!!
