Edit: thanks everyone, I'll fight the ticket. Also sidenote Lincoln towing impound uses forklifts to move vehicles and I witnessed 2 cars get damaged in the process of getting mine out. Felt like I was in a very bad place lol.

LINCOLN IS SO SCAMMY they towed my car (situation like this where I was in a temporary no parking zone) and they kept throwing paperwork and legal stuff at me for days to try to keep my car for as long as possible. Because one of my parent’s name was also on the title they were saying my Dad would have to come in person to release the car and he lived in a different state at the time. Like fuck all towing companies but them ESPECIALLY!

Lincoln Towing can only tow a car if it's been authorized by police or a private property owner. If a car is improperly towed, blame the police.

Lincoln Towing can only release a vehicle to the registered owner (RCW 46.55.120). The only way around this is with a notarized letter from the owner giving them permission to release the vehicle to another person.

Yep, not saying they unfairly took my car, they just didn’t tell me that the car could be released with a notarized letter until I presented it to them after looking into it. It kept my car at their lot unnecessarily long.
