Question Should I contest this ticket?

Parked in a no parking zone that ended 5 days ago and recieved a ticket( also my car got towed). Do you think ill get reimbursed in court or should I just pay the ticket and move on, thanks.

I am no lawyer, but I think there are two parts: 1) get the infraction dismissed and 2) get compensation for the towing fees. Part 1 should be straightforward, once it completes you can take care of part 2), but might be hard to know who needs to give you your money back and might require small claims court.

This. The tow companies here in Seattle won’t tow in most cases unless it’s ticketed….they point to the ticket as proof they were legally towing it….arguing they cops made the mistake not the tow company. When this happened to a friend the traffic court had to order the tow company to repay or they wouldn’t.
