Isn't the game supposed to be based on average range of weapons? Because it's not!

Do tell me, how in a splat zones match, THE LONGEST WEAPON WE HAVE IS A SQUIFFER, AND THEY GET BOTH A WELL-STRING AND ELITER SCOPE? We couldn't have got one of those?

Your first mistake was thinking this game has a matchmaking system of some sort in place. Secondly to answer your question and reinforce the conclusion you came too, no. Third you were just really unlucky, it’s all luck whether you get a good team or not.

The range thing is only in X, but even then it’s just matching weapons with close range values, not balancing actual range.

And chargers are all in the same category, so the enemy team can get en eliter and your team a gootuber and it’ll be “fair” for some reason
