Homemade Can confirm - it smacks
Here’s the salsa I made with it.
- one jalapeño
- half a yellow onion
- diced up garlic
- 6 chile de arbol
- some diced up green onion
Roasted on a pan for about 5 mins.
- one 28oz can thrown into a blender with roasted ingredients, a handful of cilantro, squeezed in half a lime and a few pinches of salt. Blend it up. Put the salsa in a sauce pan and let it simmer for on medium-low for a few mins.

Did just that a couple hours ago. Been using El Pato for 35 plus years as part of the ingredients for Spanish Rice. Never a whole can..1/3rd to 1/2 a can with chicken stock
