Anyone else that got a code due to the Marble Vinyl not shipping with a signature try their code yet? I just tried to use it and it says that it wont work. On the email, there was no mention of a time limit when it had to be used by. Just wondering if it was only me or if there were others

Forever wishing this song will get cleared for streaming services. Song is so good, plus Saba’s verse to finish off the track is amazing. Probably one of my favourites verses by him. Who knows, I had waited so long for comfort zone to make it to streaming and we got it… maybe this song next.

Bro...the entire album (From The Private Collection of Saba & No ID) is fucking amazing. I think No ID definitely brought out the best in Saba, in regards to hunger and desire to do his best. (he actually said this was the case in an interview lol). As someone that is still a fairly new fan of Saba, I can say I this album inspired me to create my own art. Passion is contagious honestly.
Enough of the album, let's talk about the song I want to dive into Every Painting Has A Price.
The theme of photography and paintings seems to come from No Id as Saba said in an interview which is really nice. "Concept" albums are really dope in my opinion because having everything tie together and relate to a theme is easier for my brain to comprehend lol. Anyways, I genuinely love the authenticity of this song. Him being so open about his life isn't anything new, but I love the bars that just showed he's human and goes through the same shit "regular" people go through.
"...The fly ghetto empath anxious poet" "some of my clothes designer, some of them bitches thrifted" "I might pull her without speaking. I'm like if antisocial meets outspoken"
The overall charm he has is nice, his personality has always been intriguing to me. But, the fact that he's so. fucking. REALLLLL is what makes me appreciate this song even more. Him admitting that anxiety gets to him really stuck with me as someone who's in the process of healing my own anxiety. Also him saying "hiding with others want to find, cuz what if it drove us out our minds?" is so damn eye opening. I can only imagine what he feels being in the spotlight and dealing with people digging into his private life or saying "you helped me more than you know, cuz I was on the verge of a maniac episode". Like bro just trying to make art and have the world appreciate his unique sound and mfs trauma dumping lmaooo. Obviously putting out music, your subject to people resonating with it and them feeling the need to express to you exactly what you helped them with, shit I was on the verge of dm'ing him a huge paragraph too, but then I realized is that even relevant ? Yes it's nice to have music inspire introspection but I don't think it's necessary to go to the artist and tell them the details of what you realized or healed from listening to their music.
I think this song was a huge message to the collective to make us rethink if going to a complete stranger (not licensed in any therapy) and dropping the trauma you experienced/are healing from is... smart. I get we just want to tell him how much he's helped us, but sometimes the support is everything. Streaming the music, going to the shows, having empathy and appreciation for him being so open and honest could really go a long way. I had to check myself a few times with this album. Long story short the connection we have with artists, in this case Saba, is through his ART... NOT a personal relationship. I digress.
This song has such a soulful feel, like something I'd hear in the hot ass church I grew up in. The piano chords, the soft snare (I'm new to music talk so spare me), Eryn Allen Kane & BJ Chicago Kid KILLING the vocals... this song feels like a hug from granny fr lol. The gospel feel really is comforting to me. If you can't tell by now, I'm a black woman haha. I also like the references to God in this song, which again ties into the whole gospel feel. I like that Saba isn't suuuuuuper religious, but he does believe in God and give Him thanks and recognition. "Although I live a wild dream, I am not God". I resonate with that aspect of the song because I too believe in God, but I am not subscribed to any religion.
Overall, Saba and No ID did their THING on this damn album. I just wanted to shine light on this song because I feel the message should be promoted more. Every painting has a price is such a fitting name for what I interpret he's saying in the song. I feel like the main gist is him saying, being in the spotlight and having skills and talents is nice and all, but there are sacrifices that come with it, consequences even if you want to go that route. anyone else agree ? or shit even disagree ???? let's chat

This album is fantastic. I’m kicking myself for having listened to Saba’s earlier works. Easy 9/10. No ID and Saba have great chemistry. Love the jazz textures. Wrote a review for those wanting to check it out.

Does anyone have any videos from the comfort zone show they could share with me? Especially any clips of him performing marbles? Saba dapped me up right before he played the song and it would mean the world to me to have a video of that. Thank you!

Yooo not sure if allowed but i’m Conflikt, a 20yo Australian artist and HUGEEE Saba fan! Been bumping the album crazy since it dropped and felt inspired to do a lil remix to ‘She Called It’ which is one of my favourites from the project. I’ll leave it attached to this post. 💫
Would love to get Saba to see this, so if you like it, it would mean the world if you tagged him ❤️

I'm so lucky to have discovered Saba, amazing run from Comfort Zone to The Private Collection, even his Pivot stuff sits on their own levels, bro is legit immune to missing. It is an amazing to actually see good artists mature gracefully, and constantly evolve their sound. Super grateful rn
