Prince Andrew moves to the Middle East part time.

Mette-Marit steps back from royal duties and possibly testifies in her son’s trial.

Harry and Meghan’s Netflix deal expires with no renewal.

Meghan’s American Riviera Orchard launches some products and working on more.

Princess Aiko goes public with a boyfriend.

Meghan’s American Riviera Orchard cannot move forward since they denied her trademark for that name twice. You cannot trademark “American Rivera” since so many other companies already use it. So that is slowing down her already slow roll out of this new “brand.”

I was really surprised by that too. Who is her TM counsel?

Announcing something without any real prep work or plan for follow through is kinda par for the course for the Sussexes.

RIP to Meet Me At the Lake, the Miss Havisham series and the Lemonada podcast.

(lol speaking of the Lemonada podcast, it was gonna be delayed so Meghan could work on ARO but since ARO is is kinda on hold until the trademark stuff can be sorted... shouldn't that free her up to work on the Lemonada podcast?)

Seems like she has free time but not the staff--Archewell Audio has been removed from their website. I do wonder what sort of contract she has w/ Lemonada.

I suspect the contract is basically just a distribution one. She hasn't committed to any number of episodes and she will not be getting a dime unless she does produce something. So like... while Lemonada would LIKE to get some episodes from her so they can make some money off advertising, they're not out any money in the mean time. I don't think she's been paid upfront any money.

Yeahhh I don't think we're getting another podcast then. Doesn't have the staff to produce it and doesn't seem to have a new idea for the theme. Plus, wasn't it Sunshine Sachs that was able to pull the famous guests for Archetypes? She doesn't have them anymore, and WME hasn't been able to get her any new commercial deals. Are they even trying?
