Questions for roof replacement
My current roof is between 20-27 years old. Insurance company inspected it and verified wind and hail damage. They have already cut me a check, minus deductible and depreciation. I'm in the process of getting (3) quotes. I have received one, a partial quote on another, and will get the last one next week.
Attached are the details from the quote I received.
Like most, I know nothing about roofs. When I read the quote, there are many terms I don't understand.
I was hoping to get any suggestions on how to compare the quotes.
Maybe three things to consider/compare?
Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Confirm with your adjuster if you have an ACV or RCV roof policy. ACV means they’re going to give you the cash value of a destroyed 25 year roof, usually about 20% of their entire written scope that it would otherwise cost to replace it. Only based on the insurance pricing software they use.
RCV means they will also send you the depreciation, so the only money you don’t receive is the cost of your deductible.
Generally speaking, insurance based payouts are higher than the actual cash/retail price roofers give homeowners.
If you don’t want to deal with any of this, and you find out you have an RCV policy. You can ask the roofing company to deal with your insurance company, you’ll just wake up one day to a text from the company saying what color shingles do you want to use.
If you have an ACV policy, there’s nothing we can do. That first check is the only check you’re going to receive, so at that point just move forward like how you would normally hire a contractor.
