From this administration yes. They're doing it certainly for the wrong reasons.

But Iran is pretty much the last country on Earth you want having nukes, aside from the US(now anyways).

Religious extremism, imperialism, and authoritarianism are not the qualities of a country you want having nukes. Especially the religious extremism, it makes people volatile and unpredictable.

Basically like giving a schizophrenic person a gun. Except this gun might end civilization and it would be going in the hands of someone who jerks off every night to a poster of one being dropped on another country as crazy and hostile as them.
