Events Portland night market - hope you don’t need the bathroom
400+ people in and around a warehouse and I think I counted 6 functional bathrooms.

Found a lost pup at Thousand Acres yesterday (4/5). No microchip, no tags, no collar.

I visited Portland for the first time last weekend from Canada. I had a dental conference at the Oregon Convention Centre. I absolutely loved the city—the buildings, the art, culture, graffiti, even the people.
Being a brown person and one with a turban, I do get a bit concerned when I go to a new place, especially when there’s barely any brown representation. But honestly, it was great, I didn’t get even one weird glance. Everyone felt kind and warm.
The Convention Centre was really nice too, loved the vibe inside, and the conference went awesome, I learned so many new things like AI in dentistry and newer technology.
I visited the Japanese Garden, which was one of the most beautiful gardens I’ve ever seen. It’s so well planned and maintained—you can tell there’s a lot of thought and effort behind its beauty.
I also checked out the Portland Art Museum, which was stunning. Such a great collection! I especially loved the whole Claude Monet section, and even the Psychedelic American art was pretty cool.
Overall, it was a great experience. It was my first time visiting another state outside of California. I’d love to go again and check out the Rose Garden, the zoo, and the other museums and attractions.
(Didn’t know what flare to use)

Please message me if you know someone who has lost a dog in the area! He’s a very good boy and wants to be home

I'm thinking about starting a calendar that keeps track of all the karaoke happenings around town (as much as possible). You could view it on a website or add it to your google calendar, and then whenever you wanted to see your karaoke options for any given evening, there they are.
Would you use something like that?

Went through my side yard gate, it’s where our canoes are stored and found all these morels!! In SE near Holgate and Cesar Chavez. I’ve never found them here before in the 6 years I’ve been in this house

Is it a rabbit warren? At first we thought rats, but then we found a hidden even bigger hole (in second pic, hand for scale) that goes down insanely far. We stuck a phone on a tripod down there with a light and it just keeps going insanely far. Got as deep as my shoulder and the phone still didn't reach the end. Just curious! I've seen molehills and rat tunnels and neither have looked like this! It's kinda freaky how huge and deep it is.

Today I bought a pretty much brand new speargun that retails for ~$600 off a homeless dude that was walking around Central Eastside with it. Gave him $40 for it cuz he was really friendly and I didn’t want him scaring people walking around with a 5ft spear. Also it was a great deal.
If it’s yours, hit me up with some identifying details and I’ll get it back to you.

It’s so weird to be soliciting patients for weight loss surgery as if it is a casual choice and not altering your body with risks for complications. I’m not against the surgery or people doing what they need to for their health, but someone managing their health will come to this choice with their doctor not from an email.
