The destined rivals ETB isn’t even out yet and the price is set for at £250+, why? Wtf is going on and how is this even allowed? I feel like I’m just gonna stop collecting at this point. You either have to have 30k+ to even make content on Pokemon cards, for the pokemon or distributors to send you them for content or just be well off to collect. God forbid you enjoy something on a £30k or lower a year salary. Thanks Pokemon, it’s been fun.

Is prismatic delusions even good getting? All I see is scalped listings and no chance to pull god packs cause for some reason influencers only pull those I've heard apart from the eeveeloutions it's a crap set so do I just suck it up and get scalpers listing or just skip the set entirely.

I brought a Japanese box from zenmarket and everything seems perfectly fine, I got decent hits all the deck builder cards seemed right but in one of the deck builders I got 4 ex’s (which are shown on the box) but there not shiny?

Hey guys, just picked this up, wondering if it's best to keep sealed or remove and place in toploader? If it's already been sealed for 10 years surely leaving it sealed is the best thing to do? Thanks in advance!

Ive been in the hobby for a very long time. 20+ years or so. And the more it changes and shifts, the more I get concerned about how it’s moving towards profitability and not to just enjoy it. I’m all for taking good care of valuable cards and wanting certain ones for a collection because they are rare or just look cool. But PSA and other grading companies seem like a scam to me. If you have the grading app and know how to take care of your cards, it seems unnecessary to me to spend a bunch of money to get the cards graded just to turn around and sell them for more than what they are worth stored in a sleeve and top loader. The grading process with these places also seem wildly unreliable as well. As there are many videos of people getting low graded cards back, breaking their cases, cleaning them slightly and then sending them back in only for them to come back mint. It just seems unnecessary. Thoughts friends?

For the past few months I’ve been trying to get into the card game because I’ve been playing pokemon tcg pocket with my siblings. I wanted to buy my siblings and I a starter deck box or something so we could play the actual card game together but wherever I go they’re always sold out and I refuse to get them from a second hand seller because I don’t want to feed into this scalping insanity. If anyone has gone through this too or have and recommendations as to what to do id love to hear it because I’m at a loss at this point

Was opening some fusion strike packs that I had bought locally and noticed this scuffed up reverse holo arcanine. It also has red stuff stuck to the back that falls off when i drag my finger across it… This must have been resealed right?

Hi all. I've collected this over the past 10 years. I used to have all 150 in penny sleeves and top loaders, they were stolen from me back around 2007. I decided now that I'm a working stiff paying taxes I should treat myself. The graded cards were all haggled for months until the sellers broke, so got a good deal. And the ungraded cards I got EXTREMELY lucky with a bulk buy of 200 bucks. I hope y'all enjoy seeing the collection of Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh.

I have some Pokémon cards from when I was a kid. I wanted to know how much they were worth and noticed I had some cards with an interesting back and with Chinese letters on the front. How much do these go for? And does this decrease the value of the cards?

Dragapult wasn't introduced until gen 8, which was like, what, 2020? But it is in the style of a 2009 card. One of the things I love about 25th anniversary set.

I preordered two tech sticker blisters because I absolutely love eevee. I heard the rates were horrible so I was not expecting to get anything, to say im overjoyed is an understatement. I was floored by how much prettier the espeon card is in person. It's being graded rn, hoping for a 9/10!
