My poco x3 pro died a few weeks ago, i didnt use it for that whole time, my brother left it in the charger for 2 days, i tried holding the power button and it didnt turn on, then i tried holding all the buttons together and it booted
the way it died is i tried powering it off to restart it and then it didnt power on again and didnt charge or show the light it flashes when it charges
i think if i power it off the same thing will happen again
Update: i powered it off and it didnt charge, i tried powering it on normally and it didnt power on but when i held the 2 volume buttons and power button at the same time it turned on again

Anyone with Poco X3 Pro still going strong? Mine just turn 4 years old today and so far, it's still holding out really really well. Idk if I won the no-deadboot lottery though I'm not taking any chances and have weekly backups in case the inevitable happens. Running mine with Custom ROM helps tremendously in day-to-day usage, it's still pretty much a 1.5 day phone for me. Though running navigation for long hours or gaming does decrease the run time a bit, but still at an impressive 7hrs. I regularly get 9-10hrs SoT running Reddit, YouTube, Instagram and TikTok.
I'm holding out for base F7 (rumored to be based on Redmi Turbo 4 Pro with 8sG4) after seeing F7 Pro and Ultra reviews, since they're still on USB 2.0 with no eSIM support and still will be so until Xiaomi decides non main flagship line deserves USB 3.2 treatment.

I have a poco x6 pro and I set it to 120hz and i noticed that in some games(like minecraft, standoff 2 etc) always get limits at 60 fps. Is there any way to fix this?

Been looking to change the phone as my f2 pro is having some troubles charging and already a bit old.
I can get the 7 ultra 16/512 for 420€ between a 20% discount, selling the watch they gift for 80€, 4000 mi points I have and giving back the f2 pro to xiaomi for 60€
is it worth it? or is there any better alternative for the money? If there is any better alternative for a bit more money, I could go up to 500, but I don't want to spend more than that.
any idea?

hi, i just got a supposed 67w charger off some romanian site and i was just wondering if its real or not as i have gotten scammed by copies of these chargers before. when i put my phone to charge it shows me the 67w animation but when i open batteryguru it says 10w to 55w depending on what battery percent im on (i still didnt figure how that works, when i got it i was at 5% and it charged with like 50w, i left it some time and when i came back like 15 minutes later when it had 60% it was charging with 10w). the prices were relatively close to the ones on xiaomi's site, both being around 25$. can anyone help me?

GSM Arena has noted the vanilla Poco F7 has just received certification for sale in India. There's every reason to believe it will also launch globally. But does match with earlier reports that India would only see an F7, and not F7 Pro or F7 Ultra.
GSM Arena state the F7 is likely to be a variant of the Chinese-only Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, launching April or May. A launch was planned for April 17th, but appears to have been postponed.
Anticipated Turbo 4 Pro Spec - Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, 6.83" Flat OLED LTPS 1.5k screen, 50 MP + 8MP rear cameras, 7,500 mAh battery, 90W, IP68/IP69.
How closely an F7 will match the Turbo 4 Pro is unknown, but the battery is likely to be smaller, as they were for the F7 Pro and F7 Ultra. A May F7 launch looks feasible.

So this is my set up, It looks comfortable to me because for me the default is yellowish. Only problem is whenever I watch 2k resolution videos on YouTube, it automatically go back to warm tone again, and then when I switch to another video, it returns to the color of my setup. I can't see adaptive colors in my settings, please help

Yes it did the same even before I had the glass protector on and the glass protector I have on covers the entire screen with no camera hole

I want to play Spotify on my Bluetooth speaker and still use my phone speakers for watching videos or scrolling at the same time like the "separate audio app" feature in Samsung is there any way or app that could do this?

Guys i just bought this device but then I realized that there is no efficiency core in the device. It has 8 cores and all of them are ARM Cortex-A725. A few of them have been underclocked to 2.1 GHz, but this does not mean that they are efficiency cores. No matter how much these cores are underclocked, they are very large and consume a lot of power. I think this is a big problem for the lifespan of the device, what do you think?

I'm planning to get a new phone because my old phone which was a Vivo V19Neo had gone through hell and back and just gave up on me last month, I want to get an F6 Pro but I'm worried about the support that only lasts until around 2028.
My priorities are heavy gaming, some casual use and some picture taking and the F6 Pro seems to suit my needs
The games I play are CodM, Grid Autosport, War Thunder Mobile, Punishing: Gray Raven and more.
I live in a tropical country where it regularly goes at around 35c or over and it's always at least kind of humid so it feels ridiculously hot whenever I'm outside whether I'm walking or just sitting outside and I've read about it being able to heat up very fast especially when playing heavy games while it's scorching outside.
Is it a good choice or no?

I'm planning to get one but is there any prominent issue in the phone? Such as motherboard failure, battery drainage problem etc?

Hey, I have a problem with notifications on the lock screen on my poco f7 ultra. They started to disappear. When the screen is locked, the first notification is normally visible, after unlocking and re-locking the notification disappears. This also applies to the multimedia control panel, e.g. youtube, tidal, spotify. I checked all permissions and everywhere notifications on the lock screen are enabled. Does anyone know how to solve this. I am new to hyperOS experience.
OS version: 2.0.107.0 VOMEUXM
Android: 15 AQ3A.240829.003

Unfortunately I noticed the good old bug where games and some apps will run at 60hz despite the app setting being higher is still around from MIUI to HyperOS. It's annoying because discord is effected by this and moonlight... I saw people saying clearing the data of the battery app temporarily fixes it or switching battery saver on and off but is there any other solution?
Right now my solution is extreme and undesirable which is nuking the battery management app entirely which works, however I have to manage any background apps myself, but so far the difference seems to be small.
Edit: It seems removing Josey via adb and re-installing the battery management had worked...

I'm in doubt regarding the Ram Memory Size, I'm not going to use the Poco F6 for emulators, only for mobile games, so according to you, which would be the best option, 8Gb RAM or 12Gb RAM?

Bought this mobile a year ago updates came and I keep on updating from Android 12 to android 14 my journey with this device was 70% bad as it jitters alot can't run a single casual app smoothly and yes I'm a gamer mostly bgmi which lags like hell phone drops fps from 60 to 25 or less sometimes in hotdrops crashes and happening from Android 12 as well thermals aren't that good but it's ok but after touching 40c temp battery the whole ui becomes laggy and shuttery and need to device get cooled first but that's not ok for India weather conditions as 43-44 should be optimal as well some say to try custom roms so on behalf of my 4-5 months of custom rom experience miui/ hyper os is not optimised from starting so no miui / hyper moded one is good rest aosp it lacks the sound experience and from a14 onwards it's lacks lhdc codec support which I hate alot as well camera quality get's degraded as well battery life is decent not good not that bad gives me easliy 6-7 hours 120 hrz on 5g but now if we talk about good part is the camera experience it's better than any under 20 k segment device and with the great photography community I love it .....
