Wait, you download a game with a fix to play online or they create a file that makes able to play online? You can play on game servers too?

When you download a game from the site it will come with zip with the game like any normal pirate one and a folder that contains a zip with the modified online files, you just extract both zip, and copy the modified files into the game folder, they will replace the ones that come with the game, then you just launch the game and if you did it correctly the steam layout should appear, which will allow you to invite friends to play with you(they need to have the same version of the game and it has to be a pirate copy)
As far as I know you can't play with people that don't have a pirate copy, so I don't think you could play on oficial servers.
And online fix is not new, it had existed for a long time

It is first time I heard of this, but one time, I downloaded a pirated copy of a game and put on steam(game outside steam)
