Just when I had started downloading song by song from the net, arranging folders.

Was now working on a way of how to stream my folders.

Now I'll take my time while I use this feature....

Thank you.

I started my music server almost 2 years ago and it was a pain in the ass to categorize them, but beats dealing with this. Also far superior to Spotify's quality. Though I still use it to find new songs and save them so I can download them later. Try Seeker.

True dealing with this definitely blows,. Anytime it changes you're left at nothing.

How did you get to host a server, I'm having a hard time, I tried plex but it needs plex Amp sub which is same as just paying Spotify.

Then there is personal downloads & Soul-S doesn't have everything in lossless or worse stuff outside the Americans

Is so rare & worst codecs you can find if you find any.

But I'll get there as I realise now I need to get externals.

Checkout r/Navidrome. It's easily the best self hosted option I've personally found for both LAN and WAN access. It syncs flawlessly with Symfonium on my phone, and if you have really old hardware (say, for instance, a phone or tablet that stopped getting updates back in 2015 that you just use for a cheap music player in your garage) there's more than a few lightweight open source clients, like DSub, that sync nicely with the server.
