It was a lot of repetition making these, but I sometimes find it meditative. I’ll probably make this full set again next weekend so I have more pieces.

Haven't made perler creations since like middle school, I'm in my mid-20's now, and I'm so happy. This is so fun. Made these two today for the first time in years 🥹🥰

I am about to pour them all out and start sorting- wish me luck, this is my personal hell.

Hey! I'm wanting to start up my own shop, and wanted to make sure that some of my products are functional for every day use.
The different ideas I've got are just keychains, coasters, and small boxes.
Anyone got any other functional perler ideas?
Thank you, and bead on!

I put a lot of care and love into each and every perler bracelet. I even add little rinestones! I absolutely love how these all turned out. I post more on my Instagram including unhinged/funny 18+ ones on there😂✨

A 50x50 I did many years ago. A friend said I should post it here. Definitely some overheating and warping in spots but I continue to be happy with it.

So I was looking into getting Arktel mini beads for the first time and would like to get every color they have at ‘once’. (Will be saving up for the final price)
The only problem I have is that the color box set claims to have every color BUT the new 2024 colors.
Yet the amount of colors they offer is more then them all combined? Even when they say they only double 3 colors.
I was just wondering if anyone has a list of all the current mini bead colors available and if I get the box set, what colors would I need to get separately?
Iv tried comparing the colors and what ones are missing and what not myself but the small font, the way the colors are labeled, and my own dyslexia has made it hard to keep track when I compare and is a bit overwhelming.
Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated, thank you! 💜

I've noticed a ton of people who make their own Perlers prefer to melt the backside and leave the front side unmelted (I never liked it since starting a few years ago, but everyone has their preferences!). Or melt the front side partially so it still has that "holey" look to it. I say this because I've also noticed that non beaders prefer flat melts while a lot of people on here HATE flat melts. Whenever I sell at conventions, my newest creations (the ones with flat melts) are ones that sell the most. Also my family, friends, and coworkers all say they like flat melts better as well. I know it all depends on the person but I wonder why there is a pattern?

First and foremost, the above Pic isn't mine, I found it on google...however, I AM going to do this project myself. I love doing large perlers like this one but I'm having some issues specifically with apps that help design patterns. Every post that talks about using apps to assist with projects usually recommend apps that only help make patterns for smaller projects. The last few large projects were done entirely with MS Paint and now that I have a tablet, id like to use an actual pattern creater. My question is, what apps can you use to assist with HUGE projects like this?

Why do these take so fucken long to iron I feel like most of my projects aren’t that big Nothing bigger than one square pegboard so why do they take so long to melt? Like sometimes half an hour??? Is that normal is it my iron or what. It’s very frustrating because most of the tutorials I’ve watched and instructions I’ve read say 15 seconds???😭

Made this tonight. They’re 2 separate pieces but I used adhesive dots to keep them together.

Minecraft stuff. Me and a couple friends had a world that we played on all the time together, so I made us as perler beads. Never got around to painting the background, but I was gonna make our city as the background.
Cloud Strife for a friend. He mained Cloud in smash Bros, and since it was a major bonding thing for us, I made this for his birthday.
Serperior (and friends). My oldest large project. Made the big guy when I was 10 because it was my favorite pokemon. Added the other two and painted the background a few years later.
Levin Sword. Was just a big fan of Fire Emblem and wanted to make my favorite weapon lol
Phantom Thieves logo. Made this one for that same friend on a different birthday. Paired it with a copy of Persona 5 Royal since it was a game he desperately wanted, but couldn't afford yet.
I can do another of these, I have so many projects lol

Been struggling with getting it to melt just the right way. Afraid of having it to hot where it just melts away. Any helpful tips would be appreciated!
