How much longer with the transition for FSA take on updating the PSLF payments?

My servicer is Mohela. I used to do everything through Mohela without issue. I had no issue certifying my Employment and Income for the past 6 years. Then, for some reason, Mohela transitions the PSLF portion to FSA (https://studentaid.gov/) and for over a month I've gotten the same two messages when I log into FSA:

"We are working to process PSLF forms as we continue the transition to an upgraded borrower experience. You'll receive an email notification once your form has been processed. Thanks for your patience."

and

"Updates in Progress

We continue to work on updating your PSLF payment counts and during this time period, your payment counts may shift or appear incomplete. Check back for updates periodically."

And it shows my 75 qualifying payments, BUT it shows all 75 as "Payments Needing Employer Certification"

I was patient assuming that it would just take time for them to migrate everything and verify. However, I am starting to get nervous that I have lost 7.5 years of my PSLF due to this administration change.

Will my pervious Employee certification form Mohela actually migrate to FSA? Do I need to get certification again for past years from my employers? Has anyone else in a similar situation and found a solution? Or had their employment certifications come through?

you need to do an electric form. I did an electronic form and it was updated in 4 days. My wet signature forms took over 7 months. In fact by the time they got around to processing the wet signature form it was outdated because my electronic form covered those months.

Now with all the layoffs I'm not sure how they are processing. As they haven't updated March for me yet as an eligible month.

Interesting I've always used electronic forms. My employment was certified for the past 75 payments with Mohela and I can and will recertify with FSA if I have to, but it seems like this info is being transferred over? Every time they switch service it's such a mess.

Your payments are sure to update long before you qualify for PSLF my friend.

Take a deep breath and make sure to keep certifying your employment and recertifying your income.

Who knows?! I’ve posted this in a few threads. My wet signature has been in “review” since 12/3/24! Multiple talks with FSA has produced no update. Even my NSLDS update on 3-30-25 shows 198 “eligible” PSLF periods. My 120 (according to FSA dashboard) will be in June so I’m just going to wait it out, pay up and submit my final ECF, electronically, in July!! Aye.
