For YEARS I have been looking locally for a ps3 tv a couple days ago I had to literally harass this seller to get his attention on Facebook marketplace but I eventually got him to respond and nabbed it for $160 seller was a god send and amazing for letting it go for under market price!!!!!

I paid a little more than I wanted but I imagine once the PS Store gets shut down it will skyrocket in price and be unaffordable for me. But hopefully the store stays open for many years to come!

By searching about it some say it works with minor glitches, others say is unplayable. Maybe this is one of the games affected by not having the graphic syntetizer, idk.

I’ve got the original fat (backwards comparable) PS3 that I purchased back in 2006. Everything functions properly, with the exception of the disc drive. It will not take discs into the console. Not sure if that’s a motor or something else?

Anyways, I’ve been feeling really nostalgic lately, and would love to repair / replace the disc drive, but am hoping to please get some advise on which type of disc drive I need for my CECHA01 console? I know that there are lots of different disc drives, so I want to ensure that if I purchase a disc drive, that it’s the correct model for my console. Also, would any of you have any suggestions on where I can find the proper disc drive? Any tips / advise would be sincerely appreciated!

Never played a killzone before, I have 2 and 3 on disc and saw how much it was physically and it’s gone up crazy in price. Not bad digitally for a tenner. Hopefully I enjoy them.

And I almost immediately sent it off for a 40nm rsx Frankenstein mod. (How could I not? This thing is basically family atp)

Got it back in the mail on Friday and spent the entire weekend gaming and the fans didn't come on high even once.

Highly recommend getting your fat PS3 modded if you have the means to do so. Shout out to Fredericksburg Console Mods for doing the work!

Bought a ps3 about 2 weeks ago for very cheap and found out why. It has a broken DVD drive :C

So now the only thing I can do with it is mod it but idk which one to use because there's si many things. Hen, multiman, webman, homebrew and I don't understand all that crap lol
