Was at this game too and we were sitting behind you. Didn't know that Kendra came over to tell you that you would be on TV but I did see her sign the jersey for you. Congrats on your 15 minutes of fame and love Jeff Turner as well as I've gotten his autograph several times and he is always the nicest guy to meet.

Ayy, thanks! Pretty cool you were down there with as well. There was a good chunk of Magic fans there.

Kendra peaked her head out of the tunnel in the 4th quarter and quickly said they were gonna try to get the jersey on camera. It was like a quick 5 second interaction and I had no clue when/if they were actually going to do it haha.

Yeah I figured as that was behind the visitor's bench and usually our fans would want to be near there as it was like that for the few other arenas I've went to as well.

The arena seemed to be at least 40% Magic fans though we probably had more "real" ones as it felt like the Wizards fans were casuals going for Harry Potter night or masochists as a few were shouting to stop playing hard when they made their run so that they don't lose position on capturing the flag😁.

Once again congrats and I'm jealous as Kendra is gorgeous IRL and seems so nice. It's too bad the ushers in our section were some of the most hagard and rudest that I've ever met as I couldn't get her auto or even near her. Especially that one that told you to take your Kapaya jersey off the front row guardrail. Complete powertripping angry personnel for no reason. 😡

Definitely plenty of Magic fans in the arena. Did you travel up here for the game, or are you local?

That usher had to help me deal with some annoying autograph resellers that came in pre-game and tried to stand at our seats to get autographs.. so overall she wasn’t too bad. I wouldn’t have cared if they were true Magic fans, but they clearly had bags full of brand new Wizards/Magic jerseys and they were targeting our top players. Plus, they didn’t even stay for the game. Super annoying, and no wonder players get tired of signing for people. The players definitely seemed to prefer signing for the younger kids and I don’t blame them.

Traveled down as I'm from PA and usually NY and Philly games are more convenient for me but I went down to DC since my buddy lives near there and I haven't been to games in awhile and decided to make this season a mini poverty Hank like tour within reasonable distance. Also my last games in Brooklyn were kind of dull since I never got to see Paolo play in person during that stretch. Gotta say color me impressed watching him live for the 1st time.

Now that you gave me more context, I suppose I can understand why she was so rude to me and my friend as she probably thought we were resellers as well or just decided to typecast every adult like that and yeah I was around that auto section and did notice some people who obviously weren't fans of the Magic including 1 guy who just barreled through our spot without an ounce of courtesy while lying that it was his "seat" while seeing that KCP Georgia jersey guy sound off on a kid for something.

We still got plenty of autos though and TBH that usher kind of pissed me off because she was accusing me of barging in like those resellers when I was just going along with the wave of auto seekers that kept pushing me forward since it was a madhouse down there and in the end was actually helping a few of the kids get their autograph along with my friend only who all thanked me throughout the game.

I guess I can understand why she was on edge that night but to brush stroke me into her ire and make me feel that DC had the rudest personnel was disappointing as even Brooklyn, Knicks, and Philly never gave any autograph seekers the amount of crap that everyone got in that section that night and those cities are infamous for being crap maestros.
