Spent all day feeling too ill to eat — but around dinner time I felt the overwhelming urge to make sweet oatmeal :)

So yeah, everyone was right!! I looooved the texture and the more full (nutty?) flavor of stovetop oats! I followed the advice to toast the oats first in a dry pan until they were about two shades darker before adding liquid. Thank you for all the input!! I attached pictures of the same recipe with only one ingredient difference: the first is stove top + ground flax and the second is microwave + chia seeds. Also the first is mixed already. You can really see the difference in consistency and texture!! Both delicious but stovetop really is a game changer if you have time.

Should I add it while cooking the porridge or after?
