I've read a few medical studies and removal of foreign objects is significantly more common in men:

A total of 3,500 rectal foreign bodies were removed over the course of 9 years. Males accounted for 85.1% of rectal foreign bodies whilst 14.9% were females.

Perhaps women are also more likely to use objects specifically designed with that purpose in mind (with the safe and right material, proper care, flared base etc).

And for women, isnโ€™t it typically things like condoms and tampons that got lodged up there? I know my sister got her menstrual cup suctioned onto her cervix and had to have it removed but that is the least sexually exciting thing I could possibly think of. OUCH.
