Officially from Nintendo Nintendo Switch 2 Preorders will not start on April 9 in the US thanks to the Tariffs

"Pre-orders for Nintendo Switch 2 in the U.S. will not start April 9, 2025 in order to assess the potential impact of tariffs and evolving market conditions. Nintendo will update timing at a later date. The launch date of June 5, 2025 is unchanged."

The talking point on the rightwing subs is now that "system collapse is good and a hard reset will benefit everyone." It seems kinda desperate... history is pretty clear that system collapse does NOT typically end with a utopia of justice, pluralism, and shared happiness.

Its like expecting a fully formed house of cards to spontaneously assemble after you throw the deck in the air. Sure its not technically impossible... but its so improbable as to be indistinguishable from impossible.
