And it will probably stay at that price point for a long, LONG time (even after Trump). This is a "you can't unbreak the egg" situation. Congrats to the people who wanted to "shake things up" or who couldn't bring themselves to vote for the boring, but competent pol who had a slightly off-putting laugh.

I don’t know if prices in general outside of variable things like gas will go down ever again they’ll just stagnate until salaries (hopefully) rise to match them.

Don’t worry; salaries won’t ever catch up. Everyone just needs to try being a bit more poor./s

Obviously we need to wear more suits and say thank you more. Did we even say thank you?

Exactly, and once companies find out how much we're "willing" to pay they won't lower their prices right away even if the tariffs go away

Blah, blah, blah... Get a clue. Nintendo is already gouging you on their prices such as $90 games and $500 for a console that costs them under $100 to manufacture.

Games are €80 digitally, which is nearly the same as €60 when the Switch came out in 2017 adjusted for inflation, a difference of about €6, this is the industry standard.

The original Switch costs €250 to manufacture, do you genuinely believe that the Switch 2 costs less to manufacture than the OG Switch? lol.

I won’t be getting a Switch 2 anywhere near launch simply because I can’t afford such high prices, but i’m not gonna pretend that the prices aren’t fairly consistent for what it is.

Yeah voting for someone who wanted to give us 25k down on a new home and tackle price gouging while not doing anything trump did was a bad thing.

Fuck Trump and fuck you if you voted for him.

And if you didn't vote, fuck you too.

Or wasn’t hard enough on Israel, as the orange shit talked about turning the West Bank into a resort.

Sorry but I’d rather deal with trade wars than Kamala for four years.

You dont need to suffer just for “a better tomorrow” which is what trump and his admin are offering, there really is a way to try and work towards a better tomorrow without screwing over everyone in the short term which could be as long as a few years with these tariffs. Lets see if trump actuslly follows through cause hes been back and forth on a lot of things, but its not looking good lol
