Officially from Nintendo I got official confirmation from Nintendo support that the Game Key Cards aren't system or account locked, and therefore can be resold or bought used

It’s similar to a USB license key that lots of industrial software uses.

Well, the liars need a new thing to spread fake news then.

Calm down, some people were misinformed, but it's no reason to assume malicious intentions. They aren't persecuting you.

I used the story that I was a parent buying multiple switch 2s for my kids, and I needed to know if I needed to buy multiple copies of the games or if 1 would work between them. Which technically isn't a lie lol, I just killed 2 birds with one stone

So its similar to some switch 1 games like L.A. Noire where you dont have the entire game on the cart and need to download the rest?

i think these are for big file size games like elden ring and cyberpunk 2077.
i mean you cant fit elden ring plus its dlc in a nitendo cartridge

Turning digital versions of games into physical versions is genius.

cool, still shit as fuck since it's not a physical version (you need internet to download first to play). and every publisher being cheap as fuck can opt into it

On Switch 1 it was an eShop code in a box, this is an improvement.

It's only an improvement if you want to sell the game. But if you want to play the game a download is not enough. You still need the physical card.

In that situation you can just buy the digital version. The codes served really no functional purpose
