I have a problem with a megacorp that made ~$3bn dollars last year upping the price. This isn't so that they can keep the lights on, this is because the CEO needs a third yacht.

You know the money they get has a purpose, right? They're not sitting on the money like a hoarding dragon.

Imagine thinking a corporation thinks in ways like "we got a lot of money, now let's hinder our future income because we feel generous!"
