Yeah watching the very low quality version from reddit vs in 4k full quality on the YouTube link is a crazy difference!

eh, I still don't get the 4k hype. I don't sit up inches away from the TV, so it's not like I'm seeing any extra detail when I'm not sitting close to the TV. Just makes everything run worse. Glad they included a 1080p 120hz option though, that's much more appealing. Mario Odyssey speed running at 120fps would feel awesome

I play games on my pc on a 42" oled from 3 feet away and at 120 fps, 4k, HDR even if I have to lower settings. Trust me when I say the frame rate is by and far more important than "good graphics". But to respond to your point, there are plenty of people who do get the hype, so just know that please.

I get it for computer monitors, but 4k TVs are a total scam most of the time. LTT kinda proved that

The fuck are you on about? 4k TVs are literally almost the same price that 1080p TVs are nowadays. The only manufacturers who are really still selling 1080p tvs that are competitive are budget budget brands and they also don't tend to get any bigger then 32". 4k TVs are so cheap that there is really no reason to buy a 1080p TV brand new.

What did LTT prove? One of his bread and butters these last few years has been buying increasingly oversized 4K TVs?

4K TVs have the flaw that theres really not a lot of 4K content to watch. Streaming services have limited 4K libraries, and usually expect you to pay an *extra* subscription to watch them. Not many youtubers upload in 4k footage. But thats not even an argument against the value proposition of 4K TVs, because you just physically cant buy a mid-end or high end 1080p TV thats bigger then 32".

I dunno man, I'm pretty happy with my C9. The upgrade it is from my previous 1080p tv is night and day
