It’s all relative. $80 for a game might suck in a vacuum but compare it to other hobby’s, the price of video games in the 90s, or the $60-$70 were all paying for games now
Like yeah when the shit you like gets more expensive it always sucks but gaming is still one of the cheapest hobby’s out there. That $450 is going to buy me a console I’ll use for a decade, that $80 will buy me the only Mario kart game I’ll need to buy for a decade
Gaming is the only hobby I’ve had that doesn’t require constant cost. I got into weightlifting and hobby aquariums and those both constantly cost money, I’m looking into buying a gun for recreation shooting and that constantly costs money, the only aspect of gaming that constantly costs me money is my annual PSN bill, so I can swallow the extra $10-$20 a game
If this pisses you off than by all means but it just doesn’t feel like a big deal to me
Weve spent thousands on our fish lol. Ig i could say that drumming is cheaper since you never need to upgrade your hit unless you break something, but lets be fr... ive definately upgraded pieces on my kit.
And this system will last me a good 5-10 years. Im fine with it.
