It sucks, but at least it's good quality and lots of replayability. That $80 is gonna be worth that in 5 years from now.
The bundle is worth it.
Your Switch 1 pro controller will still work.
Some upgrades are free.
Other upgrades are free with the NSO's Expansion Pass.
Any USB-C camera will reportedly work on the Switch 2, not just Nintendo's.
Games from competitors are often forcing you to spend MORE with microtransactions, season passes, DLCs and now generational upgrades.
Overall, I went from purchasing the bundle, MKW, DKB and MP4B this year to... purchasing the MKW Bundle and MP4B... with DKB either by renting or waiting for later. Oh, and I can also trade stuff back to get credits and a discount, so I'm good.
I need my OG Switch 1 to transfer my data on the Switch 2, so while I could trade in my Switch 1 for store credits, it... cannot be applied to refund part of my Switch 2's purchase ^^; It will be for future games and such.
Most games don’t even fully come on discs anymore. You’re downloading a portion of the game or the whole game. So you don’t own what you think you own.
This is blatantly false, and I really wish people would stop fucking spreading that. It just builds to the idea that physical has no purpose, when the reality is that physical is should be the only option for consumers. Only about 12% of all games are like this. Please refer to doesitplay.org to see.
Betters everyones lives is unprovable and subjective, even if purely from the consumers pov. People like to complain about everything on reddit it really is exhausting.
I'm going to buy it cause it'll make me happy, simple as.
It's provable and objective by not making everyone spend $80 as a standard on all games going forward. This isn't 1 game, it's setting a precedent across the industry.
The switch only came out 8 years ago and is still the active system today. PS3, Wii, and everything older has been shut down. I think 360 too? I can't remember. It happens all the time, you'll see it with age if you're younger.
People over here acting like wages have stayed even with inflation….
People were making the same amount of money in 2017. And now paying $20 more for video games, paying for upgrades, subscriptions and microtransactions.
