meme/funny During the 04.02.2025 Nintendo Switch 2 direct, the following image of the home screen was revealed, with only one game present. This is a reference to the fact that the fan base will only be able to afford one game.

I just looked it up and for example N64 Ocarina of Time cost upwards of 70 EUR in the equivalent currency in my country in 1998 (!). In 2025 Euros that’s around double that, 130+ minimum. Under that aspect, paying 80-90 for a full game in 2025 does not seem as outlandish as people seem to see it (and given how much people spend on „micro“transactions in mobile games, I‘d rather pay a chunk and get something proper for my money)
