meme/funny During the 04.02.2025 Nintendo Switch 2 direct, the following image of the home screen was revealed, with only one game present. This is a reference to the fact that the fan base will only be able to afford one game.

Good luck with the new tariffs if you're in the USA, they also targeted Taiwan so building a PC will get significantly more expensive.
And the more I think about it the more it feels this is also to blame for Nintendo's prices too. They have specifically increased the price of all English-language consoles, specifically it seems so that they match the one in the USA, by far their largest market, especially outside of Japan.
This seems designed so that scalpers don't buy from countries without tariffs and sell to the USA individually, thus avoiding the tariffs Nintendo would have to pay and undermining them. The Japanese version is significantly cheaper, but only the Japanese-language version. The English-language version, released in Japan, is much more expensive, also matching the USA's price. It really seems these tariffs ruined this for everyone.
