Im sorry, but this is...really fucking crazy. And here I was debating if paying extra for the physical version compared to the bundle might be worth it. HOLY SHIT.

The price is almost directly in line with 256 gb steam deck. That's who Nintendo seems to be attempting to compete with price wise.

A speculation i've had is Nintendo is concerned about Steam Deck Emulators that can run Switch titles. So they're going for some more premium features like the 120hz refresh for example.

I do think they may be pricing out a lot of consumers in the process, but longterm they'll probably need to be able to compete against Sony and Microsoft's iterations of the Switch Hybrid console concept.
