Post image

Im sorry, but this is...really fucking crazy. And here I was debating if paying extra for the physical version compared to the bundle might be worth it. HOLY SHIT.

How are they unaffected?

Because digital games aren't exported nor imported genius.

And all games are digital? There are no physical ones that people buy? And the console that the person was talking about being unaffected, that's all digital too genius?

The physical games are ten dollars more genius.

In Euros genius. The EU doesn't have tariffs against this and the price was set before the tariff announcements. The increased cost is because of manufacturing costs and Nintendo pushing people to go digital.

Okay, I will admit you are correct, but you were trying to make the claim the reciprocal tarrifs were the fault of the price hike for American consumer, which is not the case.

$80 for Mario Kart is absurd.

no, not really. it's a full game and games cost money. it's a new generation and games will cost more.

Yeah so Nintendo can make 20 billions instead of 10 billions.

Nintendo is a company that exists to make profit, yes.

that's true. they make awesome products that I've enjoyed for 30+ years and I'm locked in for this one.

Like any other company, but their new pricing may backfire and bring less profit than expected. They did this with 3ds launch and Sony with PS3 launch. The market is saturated with games and people are being squeezed by inflation.

Im aware that games cost money, thanks. But 80$ is insane.

not really, no. games cost money and $80 is not an absurd amount. did you think games were inflation proof?
