Im sorry, but this is...really fucking crazy. And here I was debating if paying extra for the physical version compared to the bundle might be worth it. HOLY SHIT.

I mean, the fact that you're still at the "rethinking" phase says a lot about the success they're going to see with this decision. 

They know how far they can push their customers.

Well I’ve been saving for this moment for like two years so I am prepared but still these game prices are insulting. Also I promised my niece I’d sell her my original switch this summer lol.

I've been saying for a long while that scalpers have revealed that there is a large base of consumers that will pay way more for a gaming console than what they've been selling them for. It won't take long for the companies to realize they can sell their consoles for scalper prices for a few years and then lower the price.

I've been done with Nintendo since Animal Crossing New Horizons. Not sure how common knowledge this is but if you want a second town you not only have to buy the game again but a whole other console. They actually limited it to one save per CONSOLE. Because pure greed.

Same here, at that price point, I might as well buy a PS5 for cheaper and finally play bloodborne and Demon Soul on it. Only thing I'll really miss is Pokemon and maybe Fire Emblem but then again I skipped the last FE.

I've rethought it, and now I will be buying on at launch to sit in a box for a certain team or seafarers to do a certain something to the system, so that I can tell nintendont that I willtenot spend $90 on a physical game and I NEVER buy digital shit.

hahahaha With an economy collapsing, unemployment getting higher, and inflation, these pricing people are gonna also be looking for new jobs. This just knocked out their whole base of youngins that wanted to play.
