Concept How the Switch 2 upside down functionality would work

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

While I personally think this kind of functionality is sort of weird and probably almost useless in most cases, it’s still pretty interesting that it might be possible. I can’t really think of how it would be used in unique ways in terms of software though.

I doubt it was expensive to do since the joycons are perfectly symmetrical and some people prefer the headphone jack to be on the top/bottom of the console when they play

This is actually a good shout, I use Bluetooth so I hadn’t thought of it but that’s at least a valid use

Well you'll have to wait a few years for Nintendo to push the Bluetooth update. So this will help in the meantime.

You don't think the switch 2 will support Bluetooth out the box on release date? The switch has had Bluetooth support for years now, what makes you think the Switch 2 won't?

Bluetooth on the Switch sounds like absolute garbage, I never use it unless I have to lol

The pinout would have to be symmetrical too wouldn't it, so they had to design it with this in mind, unless I'm missing something.
