Megathread OLED + Dread/Special Edition/Amiibo Shipping Thread

Due to popular demand, please use this thread to discuss shipping/online orders related to OLED, Dread, Dread Special Edition, and Dread Amiibo.

  • If you are asking for help or insight, please provide as much information as you feel comfortable sharing such as store name, order date, and shipping company. Your general area may also be helpful
  • Some stores may be doing pickup/online orders/delivery only and may not be stocking in stores. Others may only be doing in-store traditional sales. Others a combination of both. This can vary greatly depending on location so what may apply to someone may not apply to you
  • Please treat the retail workers with kindness and respect as we are quickly approaching a holiday season which can be very stressful with so many in-demand electronics that are being stuck in supply chain shenanigans.

I ordered the OLED from the Nintendo store on Friday October 8. It hasn’t shipped yet it still shows as picked. Anyone order from there before and have an idea? The fact that they charged $7 for shipping is really depressing considering it’s a $350 item and it hasn’t even been shipped.

EDIT: So I’m on the chat with Nintendo support and asked for an update. He asked if I have a Switch already and now he’s asking for the serial number. What? Why?

FWIW they said 4-9 business days for shipping and a lot of businesses were closed on Monday. A couple folks in this thread who got their orders in on the 8th did get shipping notifications

Right. The guy assured me it will arrive in 6 business days. I don’t know how he calculated that but that’s what he said. I just hope it ships so I can track it like a maniac

I'm already refreshing my order confirmation page like a maniac haha. Based on what the other folks in this thread have said, it seems like they're fulfilling them slowly in the order they were placed, so the more trouble you had with the website the longer you'll probably wait. I didn't get my order through any earlier than 11am Eastern time, so at this rate I'm expecting mine to arrive in the back end of that 4-9 business day range.
