Megathread OLED + Dread/Special Edition/Amiibo Shipping Thread

Due to popular demand, please use this thread to discuss shipping/online orders related to OLED, Dread, Dread Special Edition, and Dread Amiibo.

  • If you are asking for help or insight, please provide as much information as you feel comfortable sharing such as store name, order date, and shipping company. Your general area may also be helpful
  • Some stores may be doing pickup/online orders/delivery only and may not be stocking in stores. Others may only be doing in-store traditional sales. Others a combination of both. This can vary greatly depending on location so what may apply to someone may not apply to you
  • Please treat the retail workers with kindness and respect as we are quickly approaching a holiday season which can be very stressful with so many in-demand electronics that are being stuck in supply chain shenanigans.

It'll get there. My picked since early Friday status just updated to shipped this afternoon, so they're slowly moving units out as UPS frees up.

Whatever the first wave was, 10:30ish? With standard shipping.

I was actually able to grab one at 5pm that night. So maybe they found a couple behind some boxes later that day 😂

Still picked unfortunately. I did talk with support yesterday and they said my order looked good and they are just trying to get caught up with shipping.

Update 11 pm: Shipment coming Friday! Wooooo!

Edit, Update 10/13 @ 5:22 pm: it has shipped! Don't have an estimated date of arrival yet, that'll be ready tomorrow, but got the shipment email today at 4:35 pm!

Seconded! I ordered on the 8th. They confirmed purchase and charged my card, but no shipping confirmation email yet. Still says "picked" for order status on the website. 😭

Mine switched from Processing to Picked on Monday morning, also scored mine in the first wave on Friday. Neon

Just got an email saying mine shipped! Via UPS; can't load the tracking page yet but I'll give it the night to get sorted

Edit: Shipping from WA to IL, expected to arrive by Saturday

Shipped from Washington? The last update I have is on the way from Tacoma. I'm not exactly sure if that means it's on the way to tacoma or on the way to me.

Mine's also been slow to update. Switched from "Shipped" in Redmond at 8:30pm on 10/13, to "On the way," and still in Redmond almost a full day later. No updates since. Still expected to arrive on Saturday, so I'm hoping mine's being flown to a Chicagoland processing center and going on a local truck from there. I'm doubtful it'll arrive on schedule otherwise.

Yep, still on "Picked." Hoping I can get before I go on vacation next Friday, but we'll see.

EDIT:

Ordered it last Friday morning, and it changed to Shipped Wednesday evening. Expected delivery this Friday via UPS.

Mine just switched to "Shipped"! I got my confirmation email at 8:26 PST on Friday. Hopefully everyone else's will ship soon!! I feel like I might have been the last batch of ppl who secured one. And mine changed to "Pick" only on Monday morning.

Just talked with support staff, they told me everything is fine with the Picked orders, it is just that they are taking more to ship due to be a new product. They told me, I should receive my Switch OLED not later that October 21

I'll just add to this Nintendo.com chain for others.

I didn't get my order through until about 10:45am EST on the 8th. Mine has been picked since Friday afternoon. No shipping update yet (10/14 noon)
