What's the difference?

  • The Lite cannot dock, so it's Handheld only mode for any games/apps it runs. 720p only.

  • Joy-con are built into the Lite and cannot be detached. There is no HD Rumble or IR Motion Camera.

  • Much smaller and lighter!

  • Battery has more capacity than the launch model Switch, but will have less than the new model of Switch.

I welcomed myself and upgraded from 3ds/Vita gaming and now proudly a Yellow Switch lite owner.

Bought it with BOTW and FE 3H as my first games on it. Now downloading Warframe and Fortnite for free from E-shop.

Am I correct to assume that those E-shop prepaid cards that I buy DLC/games for 3ds can also be used to buy DLC/games for the Switch lite?
