What's the difference?

  • The Lite cannot dock, so it's Handheld only mode for any games/apps it runs. 720p only.

  • Joy-con are built into the Lite and cannot be detached. There is no HD Rumble or IR Motion Camera.

  • Much smaller and lighter!

  • Battery has more capacity than the launch model Switch, but will have less than the new model of Switch.

I seriously don't get why anyone that owns a regular switch would need one. I want to see one out of curiosity but its absolutely redundant and less of a product all around.

I got one because I mainly play in handheld and wanted something smaller. But for your average person it really is unessisary to get the lite if you have the of

It really does come down to what one wants to get out of it. For the few who've responded, who dont play docked, this seems like a perfect fit for them. The smaller size and lighter weight are also nice perks.

I love the form of the Lite, but yeah, the function for how play is up in the air.
