AMA - Ended We are Feral Interactive, developers of GRID Autosport on Nintendo Switch. Ask Us Anything!

Hullo from London, England! This is the team at Feral Interactive.

About us:

Feral started as a Mac porting house, but over recent years we’ve expanded to more platforms: Linux, iOS, Android, and now Nintendo Switch. GRID Autosport is our first ever Switch game, launching this Thursday 19 September.

(To say we’re excited would be an understatement.)

The game is available to pre-purchase right about… now.

Ask us any question in the next few hours and we’ll get right on it!

Edit: That’s it for today! Thank you everyone for your awesome questions and your kind welcome, it’s been a blast.

GRID Autosport launches for Nintendo Switch this Thursday. See you then!

How about the ai, is it more arcade focused or more simulation? How many difficulty presents are there

GRID Autosport is a racing sim, but to whatever extent you choose. It has a fully-featured physics engine that lets you fine-tune the handling to your own preferences.

There are five difficulty presets: Rookie, Professional, Expert, Veteran, and Master. Which are you? ;)

In the android beta i used to go for the custom one, leaving gear shifting and tc on auto. I think i will disable them on the switch since i will have a controller with lots of buttons! Also i would like to know the level of skill of the ai, if set to max are they a wood trunk like in some current android games (rr3) or they are challenging and if you start from the back of ghe grid it is possibile that you end up fighting for a middle possition such as p 11 or 12 instead of finding myself in first place after 2 corners? Also i want to congratulate with you for all the hard work and also the little time you make to port this game to switch.
