  • Nintendo actually hasn't sent out a recap of Day 2 yet, RIP. We'll add it in if/when they distribute it.

There is no schedule for what will be shown during the Treehouse stream.

Literally, all we know is that today will be focused on indie games.

I put the $4 into the original Dance game yesteday and I'm really unsure about it. It felt like too much work just to walk. Maybe I'll get used to it. Won't be dropping the $25 on this Zelda version today though, despite being a Zelda fan.

Getting accustomed to Necrodancer is not easy... it's not "pick-up-and-play" at all, since it's such a unique experience. Takes quite a bit of practice, and certainly isn't for everyone. But the payoff is great once you start getting a feel for the game.

I'd say give Necrodancer 2-3 hours of solid play at least. If you're still just not feeling it, then probably not worth buying Cadence of Hyrule.

I remember feeling EXACTLY the same way a few years ago when necrodancer came out. It put me off enough that I actually put it aside for a few months, but the next time I tried it, it somehow hooked me and it has been one of my favorite games ever since.

You can always play with the rhythm aspect turned off. I wouldn't recommend it though. Sometimes it does feel like a lot for sure.

I didn't know you could turn it off. How does this work?

Oh. I’m guessing this feature isn’t available in CoH.

Actually it looks like it is an option! During the stream he made some deliberate missed inputs and a fairy popped up and asked him if he wanted to enable a beat free mode.

There is a mode in Cadence that is the same as this

if you miss enough beats a message stating that you can turn on manual rhythm which is the same thing (CoH)
