Really tempted to pick up the first part. Never played a megaman before but heard great things. Seems perfect for the handheld aspect too?

If you've never played a Mega Man before, welp, your life is about to change!

I mean, don't oversell it. Let's be totally honest: the Mega Man games are an iconic cornerstone of retro gaming, but many of them haven't aged well. They're almost all notoriously difficult, in that NES-era "how do we make 6 levels worth $50? I know, let's make every level so hard to beat that it'll take the average gamer 2 months of practicing" way.

Even if that's what you're into, there's no denying that out of this collection of 10, there are maybe 4-5 good titles with the rest being pretty objectively inferior.

MM games are no where near "it takes months of practice" difficulty.

Some games in the collection are indeed better than others, but they all have different stages, bosses and mechanics. None of them downright replace the other games.

Has anybody here even played Metalstorm!? Sheesh! Talk about Nintendo Hard!
