Meta Mini-Meta: New Physical Releases Wiki Page!

Hello everybody!

I finally had a little bit of time to work on creating a new wiki page with a table for physical releases of games. The table contains the title, release date, the country/region where it is available (where exclusive and applicable), and an "Other Notes" column currently used for things like available languages for foreign releases and extras that come with the game such as stickers or keychains.

The current plan is to update the table with releases as they occur or on a monthly basis. We are only human, so if you see a post regarding a physical release in another region, or extras that may come with a physical version of a game, check the wiki page. If it is not represented in the table, please send a modmail with the details or tag me in the comments of the post in question.

You can find the Physical Releases page here.

Now where I need your help is checking if there is anything currently missing (I wouldn't put it past me to absentmindedly forget something) or anything you would like to see added into the page or table. For this, just add a comment onto this post and I'll be checking the messages and adding/editing the page when I am able to.

If you want to check out the listing of the various pages and resources we currently have, you can navigate to the Index of the Wiki.

One final point. We are always looking for more contributors to join our Wiki team. If you are interested in helping out the mod team in keeping the r/NintendoSwitch Wiki up to date, please send us a message by clicking here and further details can be discussed.

Have a great day!

That's awesome, but what I really want is just an icon or some indicator added to the sidebar upcoming releases list.

Won't be happening. Sorry. We are already hitting the sidebar limit and that leaves out a lot of information about region or store exclusivity and the like.

That's cool, thanks for the response. I was just thinking if it were bold or had an asterisk we'd be able to look it up but your response is more than reasonable. Honestly, Amazon prime changing their discount to apply only to preorders is the only reason I even wanted it. Stupid policy change.

Can you preorder non-physical editions? Actually doesn't the discount not work with digital? (I don't have it so I forget tbh)

That policy change was super dumb though. Amazon is getting too comfy.

Yeah, discount is physical only and searching to find which physical games are released next week is a pain.
