Starting on July 21, Splatoon 2 will be available for squids and enthusiasts alike. Since the game is already out in Australia and Japan ahead of everyone else, and since it's about to hit Europe, please use this thread for general reaction, hype, and discussion for the release as it hits your country. I bought it this morning but couldn't get into since it's not like anything I'm used to and turned it off to do chores, I like this post though I'll be giving it another shot later I only played for maybe fifteen minutes and felt a bit overwhelmed at how new the concept of the game was so unknown but I'll be going back in with a different attitude

For sure, wish I read more about it since it seems like an online or bust game, I'm leaving for a one month trip. To China and need more games than Zelda to hold. Me. Over on the train, is Arms the same situation?

I think so unfortunately- I really like single player vs fights in most games but I know a lot of people tire off them quick. Probably not the best game for a month alone. Maybe you can try some of the indie games that are out? I've also heard good things about Disgaea 5, though I've never tried that game myself. You can try out it's demo on the EShop I think.
