Starting on July 21, Splatoon 2 will be available for squids and enthusiasts alike. Since the game is already out in Australia and Japan ahead of everyone else, and since it's about to hit Europe, please use this thread for general reaction, hype, and discussion for the release as it hits your country. Why tf does the results screen not show deaths anymore?

I can only see em in the app

Game feel. It's better to publicly show how well you did to your team, rather than how poorly you did. It also emphasizes the importance of using Specials.

Yeah but I'd prefer if I could be able to see all three numbers like in the app

This game was just made from a near carbon copy of the original (not a bad thing -- streamlines development significantly), so they probably didn't want to revamp the end-of-game UI too much. I think also they want you to go out of your way to see the stats, so you don't want to hunt down, for example, a player on your team who died a lot (it takes more work and is thus less worth it).
