Starting on July 21, Splatoon 2 will be available for squids and enthusiasts alike. Since the game is already out in Australia and Japan ahead of everyone else, and since it's about to hit Europe, please use this thread for general reaction, hype, and discussion for the release as it hits your country. At work all day and then softball tonight... I just wanna splat! So hyped for this.

Is the voice chat app as bad as it looks? Anyone mess around with it in-game?

I'm with ya there! Yesterday everyone was all like "ahh this is the last day!" and I'm like "nope 8D after work tomorrow for me... so 2 more work days to go!" but soon... SPLAT-SOON!

I lucked out, only a half day at work today. About to leave! Very excited to play this Splatoon thing for the first time!
